What kind of yoga will the training focus on?

Our teacher training will expose you to all types of yoga from power to chair yoga. Our intention is to equip you with a diverse skill set that will allow you to teach yoga to all levels.

How much does the program cost?

The total cost of the program is $2220. We ask for a deposit of $300 to reserve your spot which is then applied to your total cost. You have the option to pay in full or pay per weekend. The per weekend rate after your deposit is $213 per month.

Schedule

We will begin Yoga Teacher training at the new Bella Prana Studio the first weekend of every month beginning in MAY. If you are eager to start before May, you can begin taking classes at our other bay area location in Clearwater. Hot Fitness offers trainings the fourth weekend of every month.  We also have an immersion in our Lutz location in the month of March that you are able to attend at no extra cost.  When May comes around, you can transfer to Bella Prana or you can dual enroll in both programs to expedite your graduation date.

Structure for the weekend:
Radiant Transitions has a one weekend per month structure beginning in May 2012 for 16 hours per weekend.  We also offer a rolling enrollment, allowing students to join at any time during the year.  A typical weekend looks like this:

Saturday:
12:00pm -8:00pm
To include-: Introduction to the weekend topic, Posture Clinic, Anatomy, Led Practice, Practice Teaching, Films, Chanting, Meditation, Discussion

Sunday:
12:00pm - 8:00pm
Led practice and practice teaching, Philosophy/Ethics, Meditation, Review

The structure of the program is in compliance with the requirements set forth by the Yoga Alliance for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS’s). Dates are subject to change as needed to accommodate holidays. A detailed syllabus and calendar for each weekend will be provided prior to the start of the program.

What if I need to miss a day?

As a Yoga Alliance registered school of yoga, we are required to have you attend 180 classroom hours in order to receive your degree. (20 hours will be made up of homework and at home practice)  If you miss time over the weekends we will have make-up weekends offered. If you know going into it that you will miss a specific block of time, we will work with you to make up those hours (in some cases there will be an additional cost to do so- for example, attendance of participating teachers workshops or classes).

What if I miss a weekend?

We will have a rolling enrollment, which means the topic you miss will come around again. Our goal in this program is to be flexible with our students to allow for as much participation as possible.

When will I graduate?

The program is set up to have you graduate in 9 months.  The first two months introduces our program to you. We understand that things happen in life, so if you have to miss a weekend that is ok. We will have make-up weekends, an option for you to attend an immersion in our Lutz location, and second weekend training per month in Clearwater. We expect that students graduate within (13) thirteen months from the start of the program.
